Life in a Northern Town(s)

Crazy busy day, school run (complete with eggs for the egghunt)

Work... then school pick up - sorting out the girl's stuff for their weekend with their dad.

Then packing and heading North to spend the weekend with my good friend.

Loads of hassle, train tickets costing a fortune and a rather convoluted Friday night trip through various Northern towns on the promise of good company and the seaside. That's right...THE SEASIDE!

So bit of a cheaty blip tonight. Friday was taken on Saturday - but I wasn't expecting the Northumbrian coast to be quite so breathtaking.

Ladies and Gents - Alnmouth.

A perfect part of a wonderful day. We didn't pop into The Hope and Anchor Pub but I liked the name as we passed. Seemed quite apt.

Although my ears have not defrosted yet.
