Montecute House

Ever since we visited here last winter ( 2010/11 ) we've been meaning to go back to see inside the house and have soup and cheese scones again!

I'm now regretting we didn't think it through better, as the soup came with a roll, but you could have a savoury tea, which was 2 cheese scones with cheese and pickle. We had one of these each, but should have had one and a soup portion to share! Anyway, it was a lovely afternoon and by looks of the weather forecast it's going to be a few days before we see that again.

Fingers crossed for nice weather for the Easter weekend - it's Sav's birthday on Friday.

Will remember the soup and scone thing for next time!
