I know you all have seen lots of "Sweetie" lately, but to be honest she is keeping us quite busy. Caring for a stray is time consuming to say the least. But it is rewarding when she comes running looking for attention.

Being honest again, I have had seconds thoughts about taking her in. Was it really the right thing to do? Most times by the end of they day I always conclude that it was the right choice, maybe not always for us, but always for her. It has been a challenge, I get bit regularly at this point, though she never breaks the skin, more of a nip. She is very twitchy, will love being pet one second, and bite you the next. But she is getting better every day, we've even started to work with her to try and pick her up!!
For those who haven't dealt with strays, this is a big step!

Our major problems lie with her medical bills. She needs to go to the vet for a medical exam as well as a feline leukemia test, which all together will be around $200, and there may be additional cost afterwards. I know 200 dollars may not be much to many, but that is a 2 weeks of work for me, we just don't have the funds. This is why I have decided to appeal for help (as much as I really HATE to do this) I have set up a donation pool on paypal, and if there is anyone out there that can help Sweetie by sparing a few dollars you can donate here.
