Free Sundays!

On the first sunday of the month, paris museums are free, not quite all of them, and more in winter than summer, but still more than enough.

Today me and my lady took advantage of this and went to the Pompidou Centre for a look round their ever changing semi permanent exhibitions of 20th Century art. It was a long, exhausting but lovely afternoon punctuated by several periods lounging on the gallery's various terraces which have excellent views of the city and opportunities to spy on the people below.
