Hope Springs Eternal

I thought I was going to get shot at trying to take this photo. This property is uninhabitable (see other photo below also) but the guy who owns it some does farming (corn) in the adjacent field.

He was there today tilling the soil and I asked his permission to take some shots of the house and barns. He was hesitant at first telling me that people come to steal what little remains in the house and barns and warning me that he has surveillance cameras all over the place.

I assured him that all I wanted was some photographs and he obliged but it was a tense few moments!

I posted them all because I am pleased with the photos and did not know which to pick. I think it was a good day to photograph barns and I hope that you agree. Plus I escaped w/o being shot :)
