You lookin' at me?

A surprisingly chilly afternoon's walk in the Oxfordshire countryside, flying Harris hawks - a million miles from the built up, grotty sprawl of streets I'm more used to. Meeting new folk, and bumping into not so new - lovely relaxing time surrounded by nature - cock pheasants fighting in the nearby fields, woodpeckers in the background, kites circling overhead - aaah, I could do with this more often!

Charlie the Buzzard (pictured) was an inquisitive, incredibly docile girl, rescued from horrible conditions but thriving with Clive and Jayne of the King and Queen, Wheatley and the Wheatley Birds of Prey.

Not sure what is going on in her head...somehow I don't think she was quite as taken with me as I was with her....
