The last match of the season..........

Today marks the last football match filled Sunday morning, for a while at least. It was a lovely bright morning but bitterly cold - we have to clear the frost from the car wind screen before we left at 8.15.... an hours drive today, but a nice pitch to play at... there is a park there for T&H to play in and bacon rolls provided in the club house ..... very civilised.

It had started to warm up by the second half, and the final result was a 2-2 draw son not too bad.

We now have 4 whole weeks with Sundays more or less free, and then, well the cricket season starts......... With Michael's U13's matches in the morning, Michael plays, Vijay is manager of the team and Tara, Hari and I support. Then in the afternoon, the seniors play, and this year Michael has already been told he has a place in the Sundays seconds in his own right, so the whole day will be given over to cricket for at least 10 weeks!!!
