Making Bread

What a great day I've had!

I went on a breadmaking course with Sailfish, Valerie, Sarah & Catherine. It took place in our teacher, Colin's kitchen and we had a ball!

We made a wholemeal loaf, challah (which brought back so many childhood memories, spending time with my Jewish grandfather, Great Uncle & Great Aunt), oatcakes and bread rolls.

Colin also showed us how to make Staffordshire Oatcakes which are like oaty pancakes and VERY yummy.

Murree kindly agreed to pose with my haul and as it's my last Murree blip (for the timebeing, at least), of course I agreed :-)

I collected my brother, Mark, from Edinburgh Airport and I'm looking forward to having him stay for a few days!
