Barking Mad

With a nice forecast we went off to Kew Gardens for a bit of family time and a picnic. Had to stop twice en route during the 30 minute journey - once to put roof up and once for a toilet break. For pity's sake it was a 30 min journey!!!

Anyway, interesting pattern on a sweet chestnut tree I thought. I love Kew much more than Wisley I always think it seems much freer. Pottered up the treetop walkway, picnicked by the lake (and fed ducks and coots and moorhens and geese). Henry went stratospheric and we tried no strategy of ignoring him - somewhat successfully!
