Pollokshaws Burgh Hall.

This was the best of a bad bunch today. Think it's because the sun has now disappeared again and it's back to dull, cloudy weather.

The hall was built in 1897 by Sir John Stirling Maxwell to celebrate Queen Victoria's Jubilee. He then gifted the building for the benefit of the community of Pollokshaws. The flowering cherry trees look magnificent in the sun but not so spectacular when it is dull. Oh well.
