Limited Edition

The sweetest strawberries here in the United States are from Florida. They are in peak season in January and February, after which most get shipped to the East Coast from California.

This monstrosity came in a box of berries called "Limited Edition," and I'm not certain whether it was engineered to grow this large, or if it is some sort of giant variety made for dipping in liquid chocolate.

It will most likely end up in a fruit salad of pineapple, mango, and strawberries.

My mom's favorite flavor of ice cream was strawberry, and I'm sure she would have enjoyed savoring this one very large berry.

I wasn't sure how to show everyone its size in a unique manner, so I chose a shot glass from New York City, which is about 10 miles from where I live.
