Friar Gari's Vantage Point

Today we had a family trip to Monserrat.

An icon for Catalans, Monserrat has everything, views, monastery, funicular railway, cable cars, a fantastic basilica, a black madonna, walks, hermitages, legends and a heavenly choir of children.

I can't do it justice, look it up, research and glory in it. The one thing I will tell you, Friar Gari had to do penance for an alleged dirty deed involving the daughter of a Count. If that doesn't peak your curiosity, nothing will.

PS It is also rumoured that the legend of the Holy Grail is bound up with Monserrat, so there is no end to the intrigue of this place.
