Balloon
Still felt a bit down this morning after yesterday's thoughts about our trip but headed out with Mr Hen to a place just behind Angkor Wat where we went in a tethered balloon up above the temple complex of Angkor Wat.
Got an amazing view over the temple, surrounding fields and Siem Reap. Back on the ground we headed in to Siem Reap where we went round the market, then had lunch before walking back to the hotel.
Sunbathed by the pool in the afternoon, then went back to get ready for dinner.
Watched tv while my sister got ready and found a brilliant Korean Soap called 'Mum's dead mad' - it was fantastic, so funny (deliberately so!) and had English subtitles too. Will need to try to find it when we get back to the UK.
Dinner was at FCC Angkor - I think this is related to the FCC Phnom Penn where Sydney Schanberg was based in the film 'The Killing Fields' .
Dodged the frogs on the path outside then went in to have a delicious dinner, looking out over the river and the street below. A lovely location and really nice food.
