Goal mouth scramble

I love football but I really can't be doing with all the amateur dramtics and histrionics in The Premiership. It just seems to me tht the lower don the leagues you go the more honesty you see.
This is AFC Fylde (in white) v Radcliffe Borough in the Evostik North 1st Division.
At the start of play Fylde were at the top of the league on goal difference from Curzon Ashton.
A win would cement the position, regardless of other scores. This goal mouth scramble after a corner to Fylde, came to nothing.
But a final score of AFC Fylde 3 Radcliffe Borough 0, and Curzon Ashton only drawing 1-1 with Wakfield, means there is now a two point gap between Fylde and Curzon, with 5 games each to play.
A very exciting end to the season awaits.

Twitter and a football scores app on the phone mean I have been able o keep up with all the other scores as they developed too.
An equally exciting game at Carlisle, who beat Huddersfield Town 2-1 with the winner being scored in the 95th minute.

I wasn't sure if I would be abe to handle being around so many people and there was no way I felt up to doing the public address announcements. But it was nice that people, including the players, took time to wish me well.

As I write this it is half time in the Blackpool v Southampton game live on BBC TV, and Blackpool lead 2-0.
I may just have a glass of wine tonight
