The River Wear Trail

I went for a bike ride along the River Wear Trail and ended up at the Victoria Viaduct again. I started off at Chester-le-Street passed through Washington, Fatfield and on to Cox Green before turning around and heading back home. I could have followed the route all the way to Roker Pier at the mouth of the river at Sunderland but I didn't have enough time and besides the weather didn't look very promising. In fact the weather hasn't been as good today; it is noticeably colder especially in the wind.

I'm going to a dear friend's for dinner this evening in Hexham so I had better get a move on. I'll catch up with you all when I get back tomorrow. Have a good weekend everyone :-)
