Getting air

This is Anton Cooper. He's a junior mountain bike champion, a Chch boy and it appears he's rather good. He wins races and everything.

Today he made a public appearance at Kendal School at the opening ceremony for the school bike track. You can read a little about it here. It's an awesome initiative and I raise my hat to the school principal whose idea it all was.

I was asked to take some photos on behalf of the school so that they'd have something 'for posterity'. It's way different from my comfort zone - landscapes - but I had fun. The kids just had a blast all afternoon :)
