"Chicks dig scars"*

Slightly traumatic evening. Just as dinner was ready the kids were horsing around in the kitchen and the little boy went down. He hit the door of the dishwasher with his face just before the dish of cat food broke his fall.

Unfortunately he gave himself a cut, about 1cm long. Not too deep but it wouldn't stop bleeding so I was sent out by Nurse Nuala to buy steri-strips.

He'll be fine.

And if you think this blip is a bit too graphic consider yourself lucky. The other choice was a shot of the blisters on the back of the little girl's throat. Who ever heard of Hand, Foot and Mouth disease?
