Panic Buying

Chocolate, Peanut M & Ms, Double Deckers, Coffee, Cola. Certainly no sign of the same unfathomable mad rush to fill up with petrol tonight as there was here yesterday.

Enjoyable (and rare) walk with the whole household tonight, still in the sunshine but noticeably cooler than it's been. Peaceful until we bumped into what seemed like a hundred cider and lager swilling yoofs on a narrow path out for a start-of-school-holidays piss up. I'm pretty sure most of them were so out of it that we managed to negotiate a path through them without incident, dodging the 2 litre cider bottles that were being passed around and stepping over the bodies that were falling by the wayside. Not one of them over fifteen either.

After burning off all those calories it didn't feel quite so bad stopping off at Tony's for fish and chips. Washed down with cider of course. It is the the school holidays after all.
