Clapper Bridge at Teignhead Farm

This bridge carried the track that the occupants of Teignhead Farm used, to go from their remote moorland home, to market at Chagford.

Today, parts of the track lays under the water of Fernworth Reservoir together with another bridge. At times of drought, and the water in the reservoir is low, the bridge reappears. Today the reservoir is nearly full so no water shortage here this year, and no sightings of the bridge.
