"Awakening"

Things are coming to life in the woods again. We,ve been having temperatures into the 20,s , it has,nt rained here for weeks... I came upon the strange looking plant in the picture some years back, it took me some time to discover it was called a Skunk Cabbage, seemingly it comes from America, it obviously likes damp conditions as it,s thriving.. It grows huge leaves almost like a Banana tree, the flower extends on a long spike..
