Saguaro Along The Roadside

I took an early morning ride toward the Saguaro National Forest. I didn't get too far before I pulled off the road and took some pictures.

I had shots with more cactus in them but this one was my favorite [probably because of my fondness for mountains].

It's a two lane road but there are periodic pull offs, specifically for photographers, because the sight of the saguaro is so spectacular. They live exclusively in the Sonoran Desert. No other place in the world.

*In large you can make out the saguaro on the edges of the mountains. They are growing everywhere.

Since tomorrow is the last day of March, maybe I'll take down my Christmas tree. No guarantees, though!
