The Tyne at Wylam
Today I went for my longest ride for ages, almost forty four miles and at the minute I'm feeling every one of them.
I started from home and cycled out through Ponteland to Wylam then crossed the River Tyne (where this was taken) and continued east along the river banks to Wallsend, named as it's the end of Hadrians Wall (or beginning) then I followed an old wagonway back home.
I'm still on the look out for a new car, my trip took in two garages with potential purchases, sadly both had gone.
I did take a few more pics they can be seen here.
Have a great weekend all, it looks like our spell of fine weather is coming to an end.
