A worm for the Goldfinch
The weather has turned dull over on the east coast - the clouds descended just before lunchtime, along with some cooler weather.
I blipped this goldfinch on a tree which I know usually houses at least a dozen of them. They are usually in the upper reaches, but this one was low enough to catch as it pulled this long worm-like creature from a crack in the bark. If this tree has woodworm, then they're the biggest I've ever seen!
