A rare perfect day

Long time no Blip. This shot was taken at lunch time from the Maroochy River at Cotton Tree, towards the river mouth. It was the most perfect day we've seen in a while.

This was just a quick iPhone photo, adjusted on the photoshop app. It did managd to rain this afternoon, which was a shame.

Last week there was amazing flash flooding here, and this week one of the junior lifesavers from Maroochydore was killed in a tragic accident at the Australian Surf Life Saving Titles at the Gold Coast. It has been a bit bleak of late, and this wonderful scene reminded me of how lucky I am living here.

Been slack on the Blip as I have been marathon training. I leave next week for France, and the Paris marathon. A late injury has me doubting that I will accomplish my goal, but I'll just have to see.

Can't wait to get some time to look back over so many wonderful missed Blips.
