Mysterious Ways

"This way ," she said.
"Just over this wall, and we are there. See, getting under the bridge was more scary in your head than in reality."
" It often is," I replied, trying to keep a grip on my self control.
"Are you sure this is the right way ?" I enquired, "as it looks very mysterious to me."
" Only you can judge which is the best." was her retort, " This is no patrol we are on, you know."
