Sunset on a Perfect Day

Having been predominantly indoors working these past few days, today was going to be all outside making the most of the fabulous weather!
Rosie, her boyfriend Ben and myself, went of to the beach, the sea was flat calm and crystal clear, so a kayak was irresistible, it was heavenly, gliding through the water, hugging the coast and seeing oystercatchers, turnstones, cormorants and gulls. Rosie swam, amazing as the water was freezing, not even a quick in and out but for quite a time! I put these photos in my blipfolio under family if you have time. We met freespiral who was on her way home from work, nice to sit and take in the beauty of where we live, days like this one forgives and forgets all the grey!
Then it was off to our friend Dan's with a picnic supper, cheese, crackers and a bottle of wine, simple but always tastes so good eating outside, with the view of the ocean. We walked out along the coast to catch the sunset, the seascape was breathtaking and the sunset was a stunner! A few pictures of Dan's place are in my blipfolio under Sheeps Head Peninsula.
