Evening light

I haven't feel on top form today, with a chest infection becoming annoying. The weather did draw me outside to dig some earth in the new beds, searching for remnants of the dreaded bindweed root. I tidied some old plants in various pots and watered all the rest. I'm glad to get my hands dirty as it takes my attention down to where all the new shoots are growing.

The dogwood has suddenly started to bud in the last few days, but I hadn't these noticed the flowers forming at the base of the leaves. The evening light looked great wherever my eye roamed.
