Day off (using up my holiday entitlement) so got some decorating done this morning, and out in the garden this afternoon. Dug in some home made compost in veggie plot next to this lovely shrub. The red flowers have bloomed this week in the unseasonable warmth, joining the white flowers which are very attractive to bees.
