The Vikings Are Here!

This is Ted Lundström of Amon Amarth, a Viking Death Metal band from Sweden, whom I saw at O2 ABC in Glasgow on 13th March. I've been to many gigs over the years: Thrash Metal, Death Metal, pop, indie and so on; and of all the gigs this was the most civilised and memorable I've ever been to. The guys in the crowd were complete gentlemen and allowed me into the front row - protecting me all the time I was there. I got to shake hands with the drummer while he was on stage, then I met them all afterwards. They all signed my stuff, posed for photos with me and had a bit of a chat, and then they came out and shared their pizza with those of us who remained. A fantastic night was had by all!
