New sports space

Last July the school where I am a governor got 1.5 million quid off Michael Gove to invest in new buildings.

So six updated science labs, plus a new lab, new changing rooms for sports, a 240 seater dining room and kitchen and this covered sports space.
It houses two tennis courts or a five a side football pitch or a hockey pitch or three badminton courts. Use it in any weather. Great for the kids.

My involvement - I did the technical aspects of the bid for the money and worked on the design and tender process. Now I am attending team meetings with the contractors.
They are great, just like old times, I love it - and I don't get paid and still I love it!
