Kitti Welcome

Kittiwakes are back! They've been here for a week or two and their nests are spreading across the cliffs at Dunbar. The children and I cycled to the library and stopped off to clamber over the rocks and see what we could see. The bird in the foreground is waiting for its mate, whilst the one behind is arriving back. Very noisy, lovely animals.

Big Birds.

Malcolm was at the Grammar School to begin his year of transition activities before "big school," and loved it. Gordon had a Beavers evening in John Muir Park which was brilliant in this weather, warm and dry although the wind has picked up again.
