Mended

I've been out twice today and still managed to find myself blipless at 10 to nine so took this picture of my new secondhand sewing machine. I took it to a weekend away sewing and made a sample book of all the stitches and then started on piecing whereupon it seized up. It's been to the menders and is now back having cost £95 and shoud have been more as it took Jim a long time to disentangle all the wound round thread. I don't know how it happened but will take great care with threading it up. It is a lovely well engineered machine and I want it to be my main one. I know its previous owner looked after it well.
