Egg-tastic!!!!

What a way to spend a day....
Masses of work and laundry to be done so I spent the day making an egg-flinging-machine for the school Dad's pissing contest children's Easter competition at school. We've never entered one in previous years, siteing lambing as a reason to not have enough time to construct something but as my eldest goes to secondary in September this will be her last chance. Although it's a competition for the children it is a rather testosterone fuelled competition with the Dad's all taking it a bit too seriously.
Of course leaving it until the last day to build was risky.... It involved trips to an angling superstore for catapult rubber and to a sports shop for a chest expander and Pilates band...
Tonight the children painted it pink. And now I have a pink dog. Whit was attacking Braemar who decided the big pink catapult looked like a good hiding place and he's now covered!!!

The tweaking to get an extra meter of distance was hilarious and we were firing onions and golf balls all over the cattle yard. Much more fun than farming!!!

In other news, Whit the pup continues to grow at a rate of knots!
