Up the pole!

At last - it's several weeks since the telegraph pole was replaced. When the old one came down so did the street light. There is very little lighting in the street, (not a bad thing in a way), it did make reversing down the drive at night a bit tricky. After several phone calls in both directions the guys turned up this morning to put up the new light. The power company have been very good about keeping us informed. As you can see it was another lovely day. This had to be my blip and after a quick explanation the man up the pole said he didn't mind as long as I got his back view, and very nice it is! I took them tea and biscuits which they enjoyed sitting on the wall in the sun. Job's a good 'un.
