Bike

Another good day. We went to the safari park again this morning and spent a few hours there. A highlight was when the pigs started to fight with each other and the ponies in the opposite field got scared and ran away. Kerr loved the excitement!

Also, a poor little meerkat managed to escape from it's enclosure and ended up in with the sea lions. The staff were trying to catch it in a net and it wound up in the pool - soaked to the skin! Looked like a drowned rat by the time it was rescued.

After a picnic lunch, we headed to Doune Castle. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore there, and Kerr was delighted to purchase a sword in the castle shop. We then got his balance bike out of the car and he practiced on it in the castle grounds for a good while. I think he is gradually getting the hang of it, but is still a bit reluctant to let his feet off the ground and actually balance.

Back at the caravan site this evening and we spent a few hours playing in the park again and gathering sticks for a 'campfire'.
