Black hole

30 knots of wind and showers so sailing and fishing out AGAIN.
Decided to attack Weatherlam so headed off up Red Gill past the copper mines.
Got to the cascades about three quarters of the way to the summit, waterlogged bogs, rocks like oily glass and a gusty wind threatening to upend us, so it was tortillas and tuna in the lee of a big boulder and back to base.
The hole in the ground is an old coppermine.

Going to pull the plug tomorrow if the forecast tonight is no better.....
