Preparing for charities's day

No school for the girls today as their teachers were on strike. I went to work very early but was back by 11 am. Daughter #2 had gone round to her friends's house and daughter #1 went to Kingston with her friend( for some birthday present shopping and a trip to the cinema). Daughter # 2 and her friend came home and sat in the garden preparing their stall for tomorrow's charities day at school. She was very tired ( that's what happens with sleepovers) and was getting a bit stressed out about what she should wear tomorrow.
Within minutes of daughter #1 arriving home from Kingston, I had to whisk the girls to kayaking. My son has another component of his Welsh GCSE tomorrow so I had to beg him to prepare for that. He also has a maths test tomorrow. I'd asked him this morning to ask his maths teacher what they were being tested on. Apparently, the maths teacher said that no revision is required. It's just a test to see how much they remember from this term.
I had to pick up the girls from kayaking at 8pm.
