Roman banquet afternoon

Ellie's topic this term has been Romans and this afternoon parents were invited to join in with a Roman banquet on the floor of the assembly hall (with togas). After eating a feast of fruit, we were entertained with singing, dancing, plays, poems, instrumental soloists and the very first public performance by the Primary 4 string players, who only began learning in October and didn't start to use their bows until January! Needless to say it was a brilliant afternoon. Ellie is in the toga in the centre.
