Rickety Bridge
Today I had to feel better as work and Daddy Day required it. Thankfully I was feeling a bit better, my body had stopped aching all over apart from quite a severe lower backpain.
I think I was too confident as I headed out into the sunshine with the little ones as not long into our journey I was flagging. Thankfully Boy slept meaning I did not have to carry him around for a while. Girl was full of chat and spent this time filling me in on the Easter Story of Jesus when he was a big boy and grown up. This is something they have been looking at, at nursery and she has taken it all in.
When he did wake we had a showdown about being carried on the seafront which he won of course, though six feet into the carry he was put into the buggy as I could not take the strain anymore.
Soon we met up with some friends in the park that meant the little ones had a some fun and I got a break and a distraction from my back. Wife came down to meet us to escort us home.
