The Ferg

Loch Morlich

Had a funny old day, woke up had a cooked breakfast and leisurely crossed the road to my meeting , the Cabinet Secretary sent his apologies to the meeting and we were addressed by a very senior civil servant. The meeting finished early and I stopped for coffee in the Scottish National Museum of Modern ArtMost of the galleries were closed though due to redecoration and hanging Then South Queensferry for some blips of the Bridges, I took my time because the hire car had a thirst for fuel and I was in no hurry on such a beautiful day I thought about a blip of the Forth Rail Bridge I took my time and briefly stopped at Loch Morlich , ususally the view is dominated by the snow capped Cairngorms but as you can see very midsummer indeed.
On the way over the Dava my hired car ceased to function , a faulty fuel guage meant no fuel and I was stuck on the top of Dava Moor for three hours watching the sunset and the stars and planets appear. For those who know this wilderness location I stopped at the "Jesus Saves" rock Since I can remember this rock has always shown the same message and no matter how many times it is defaced someone comes up to this desolate spot and repaints it no one knows who does it but no matter the weather it is always there I nearly became my blip , in fact yesterday was full of opportunities.
