The Opening

The opening of the door has been finished. And the opening will accomodate our stove and some work space. The new kitchen has been ordered (and arrives before Easter).

I really like the handcraftmaship of the timber who made the woodwork. If we need more hired help, he's the one we call for. Here you can see how he joined the new supporting beam to the old logs. Pretty neat I say!
