The mystery of the Yarn Bomber

Today we went to Saltburn on Sea. We went to see the creations of the mystery person that the local press is calling the Yarn Bomber. Some person (or persons) unknown has been creating knitted items and attaching them onto the pier. This is my daughter holding the latest addition of an Olympic Flame.

The flame was pushed through a local torchbearer's door in the dead of night with a needle and thread note inviting him to attach it to the creation.

It is really lovely to see and it has got people smiling and chatting to one another on the pier. We need more mystery knitters in the world!
