There's a bit in Goodfellas near the end where Ray Liotta is watching the clock, trying to shape the meatballs, get his ragu going, weigh out all his coke, trying to sort out some other deals and on top of that he's still got to go and pick his brother up from the airport. In this house that's a shorthand way of saying that you're trying to do too many things at once if you ever have to "pick your brother up from the airport". Some new Death Grips stuff knocking around the internet this evening, some right old noisy hip hop that, in its innovative methods of production if not its sound exactly, put me in mind of another bunch that I used to listen to. The album this track comes from being a particular favourite.
