Underneath The Arches

I'm just home from my book club meeting which was held, as usual, at Doctor Duncan's pub.

This is the view looking up from one of our usual tables - we move around a bit depending on how many of us turn up on the night and how many other people are around.

Tonight there were twelve of us to discuss 'Fortunate Son' by Walter Mosley and 'The Stepford Wives' by Ira Levin. As always the discussion was funny, passionate and wide-ranging, using the books as a starting point for all sorts of amusing nonsense and serious stuff. A good evening.
