A Working River

The first time I've seen the River Rhine, and this far north it is very much a working river, with massive barges loaded with containers just charging down the river. This is not a very artistic photo, and taken into the sun. But gives a sense of just how massive these barges are. I grew up on the Mississippi, and my office is now on the River Clyde, so I find rivers interesting, in a nerdy sort of way.
