boat's in!

A fishing boat coming in on a Sunday afternoon created some excitement. Too early in the season for pleasure trips, there had been little activity on the sea apart from seagulls, and of course one or two very tough people who went in to swim! (It's only March!)
But the afternoon on the beach at Beer, Devon was perfect! The sea sparkled, the sun was warm while sitting in a comfortable deckchair, and it was even possible to collect a tray of tea from the beach cafe, whose owners had taken the opportunity to open early!
Yes, perfection indeed!
