Memories attached to things

This is my little side bag. I got it to go on night exercises and camps when I was younger and a sergeant in the ATC.

To this day it reminds me of those night exercises which brings me to my first one ever. To simplify things it was a giant game of hide and seek to test our camouflage and 'digging in' skills. Clueless what to do another cadet who I went to school with shoved me in a bush told me to dig in and cover myself in leaves. Unfortunately it was a nettle bush... I was chuffed when they didn't find me though! One lad on my team was very good though, he got walked over and they still didn't find him. Poor styles he got so many bruises and was only little.
