Spring frost at the lake

During this hot spell it is easy to forget it is still cold at night and early morning. Taking three of the dogs out for an early morning walk I regretted the t shirt shorts and sandals. particularly the sandals, my toes took a while to defrost.

Only three of the dogs? Darcy you might recall has been in apparent agony and had an early morning vet's appointment with the wife. True to form all signs of it disappeared without a trace the moment he got there and he is back to normal . In future I don't think we should bother with an appointment, just put him in the car, drive over there and walk into the waiting room and he'll be right as rain
