Patterns

The noontime sun playing around the cloisters of the Anglican Cathedral in Norwich created these beautiful lace-like patterns. Another exercise in patience.

It was pretty quiet down there, apart from lots of people having picnic lunches on the grass in The Close and the gentle background bustle of Cathedral staff getting ready for Easter.

The labyrinth marked out on the grass in the centre of the Cathedral remains cordoned off by ropes. A bit like a cricket pitch just before the start of the season.
