In Your Honor -All You Need Is Love-
Far away I drowned in the ocean of your eyes; swept away from all that you were. Far away I fell in a well created by your depths; clutching to the sides trying to pull myself to nowhere. Far away I realized I was in hell.
Arrived at a safe location, it was a Tuesday.
Stayed there for a while, it was a Wednesday.
Released from iron bars, it was a Thursday.
Depressed from a life of mistakes, it was a Saturday.
Far away I feel as though the glass is half full with someone else's greedy mouth on the rim sucking it dry. Far away I feel the other side calling my name in a sweetly cynical voice, "It will only hurt for a second, and then, well then my friend..."
I was found on the floor, it was a Sunday.
My family mourned, it was a Monday.
A gathering of all those who cared for a blinded mind, it was a Tuesday.
An afterlife someone might have warned me about, it was an Eternity.
Now, far away, the glass is still half empty, but upside down. Far away I can see a window. Far away, the window showed me what I left behind; a world that showed me nothing but shitty people and bad decisions. However, from a far, this window doesn't look so bad, because when you are this far away, you feel nothing; no love, no hate, no pain, no peace. From a far, this window is bliss compared to this upside down world I am stuck in now. Restrictions from a past life were nothing compared to the wrath of Death's tentacles pinning me to the ceiling while all I know and care about is freely moving on the floor. Tell me with your sweetly cynical voice, what did you convince me to do?
"Your actions were powered by whimpering thoughts harbored in a closed mind... You convinced yourself."
A scream sounds from the upside down world, the booming sound shatters the glass in the window, but on this side, the glass remains in tact.
She hears a muffled sound coming from a distance, a look of astonished disbelieve and happiness crosses the face of the girl left to pick up the pieces... could it be... no...
He's gone.
